BAAC
A visual refresh and SEO-focused rebuild for an allergy and asthma clinic looking to bring in more traffic.

Dr. Sherry Barnett
Founder, BAAC
Barnett Allergy & Asthma Center provides food allergy, oral immunotherapy, and asthma care for families in Flower Mound, TX. Dr. Barnett built the original site herself in Wix with no web design background. I came in to build on that work: sharpen the UX and grow organic search visibility.
Dr. Barnett built the original site herself in Wix, with no web design background, and she was rightly proud of it. My job wasn't to start over. Patients were calling in with the same questions again and again, not because the answers weren't on the site, but because they weren't easy enough to find. I added several new pages and restructured the site around what patients actually needed to locate, which cut down on the repeat calls and increased the number of people reaching out to book instead.
She also wanted to grow organic search traffic. I built out the pages, added a detailed FAQ section, and started a blog, work that helps both traditional Google ranking and how AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews surface the practice when people ask health questions directly.

Challenge
Patients kept calling with questions the site was already answering, just not clearly enough.
The information patients needed was technically there, but it wasn't organized around how people actually look for it. That gap showed up as a steady stream of repeat phone calls asking things the site should have already answered, pulling Dr. Barnett and her staff away from actual patient care just to repeat the same answers.

Solution
Restructured the site around patient questions, added new pages, and built out the SEO and content foundation to grow organic visibility.
I added several new pages and reorganized the site so patients could actually find what they were looking for on their own, cutting down the repeat questions and increasing the number of people reaching out to book instead of just to ask something the site already covered. On the search side, I expanded the page content, built a detailed FAQ section, and added a blog. Both help traditional Google rankings, and both make the practice more likely to get surfaced directly by AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews when someone asks a health question in plain language.

Result
Search rankings and traffic have both climbed, including first place in Flower Mound, TX for several key terms.
Repeat patient questions dropped after the new pages went live, and more visitors are reaching out to book instead of just asking something the old site should've already answered. On the SEO side, search rankings and organic traffic have both climbed, including a first-place ranking in Flower Mound, TX for several core search terms. The practice has also been recognized as Best Allergist and Best Allergy Center of Denton County.
